How I work

Before proposing a new design, I need to understand the one you already have: what people are trying to do on your website, where they get stuck and which parts nobody uses. I start with a heuristic audit, screen by screen, and cross-check it with the data that already exists: Google Analytics, Search Console and a Lighthouse report on speed and accessibility.

With that, I map the main flows in FigJam (signing up, buying, requesting a quote, whatever matters most to your business) and the information architecture: which pages you need, how they're grouped and what each one is called in the menu. They're wireframes with no color or typography, on purpose: that way we talk about structure, not taste.

What you take away is a prioritized report: what to fix first because it has the most impact, what can wait and what's better removed. It's useful whether we carry on together with the design or another team takes it from there.

Why it's worth it

  1. You avoid redesigning blindly: you know what's failing and why before you invest.
  2. You prioritize what has the most impact on your users and your business.
  3. The whole team works from the same map: validated flows and structure.
